Nathalie Worth

Nathalie Worthington Bio and CV

Nathalie’s childhood was filled with opportunities to make things with clay, fabric, colored pencils, and watercolor paint. She surrounded herself with the paintings of her grandmother on her father’s side, and the mosaic landscapes of her grandfather on her mother’s side. Always keen on drawing, Nathalie studied the works of Durer, Escher, O’Keefe, Dali, and the Impressionists. Her early days were spent hunting scenes and birds for inspiration in the Florida marshes and vast endless horizons of central Florida. Her style is representational with free flowing passages of light that evoke impressionism.

Nathalie is a plein air and studio painter. Her work is the story of her love of place and all of the nuances that emerge as magic in her connections with hills and coastal locations near her home in Fairfax, California.

With an eye toward composing a painting, she employs her love of geometry to study hills, trees, sky, and trails, with color and light becoming the language of her paintings. She enjoys expressing the vastness in our Open Space lands.
